That was the drop you would hear on KISS 98.7 FM in New York City in the 80s when Kool DJ Red Alert (reppin' the "Boogie Down") was about to do his thing. If you had bionic hearing, you would probably hear the click of boomboxes for miles ready to record this veteran DJ's prime time set.
