Another Blunt

This will be my first "G-Funk" post. I personally consider this artist to be a "one hit wonder", even though I love the bassline in this tune. Mista Grimm's "Indo Smoke" was featured on the "Poetic Justice Soundtrack" and made a little bit of noise. I'm not going in to too much detail b/c i'm pretty sleepy right now. Anywho...here's the full 12" single (Radio, Street, & Instrumental versions) ft. Nate Dogg & Warren G.

Some London Funk

A couple of years back, I got one of the mix CDs that Scion would pass out at their shows. This particular mix was done by DJs Haul & Mason, and featured one track that really caught my attention titled "Look For Me" by Ty (not the R&B singer). Funny thing is, for so long I thought this cat was from Los Angeles by the way he delivered his rhyme and the way the funk flowed on the track. Come to find out, dude is from across the water...on a lil ol' island called...ENGLAND! AND...he's also of Nigerian decent, being the first generation of his family born in the island nation. Here's another treat from the Brits.

Ty: Upwards

Whew MAN!

I know it's been a minute since i've posted, but i've been extrememly busy running errands, in the studio, family, etc, etc. While you may be reading this post, i'm currently in the works to post more material. You can also peep out the new podcast I uploaded in the player at the very bottom of the page. BLESS!
