The Suffers: Make Some Room (Official Video)

Kam Franklin has the pipes to blow the roof off any venue she performs in. I'm not talking an instrument, per se, i'm speaking of the vocal swagger reminiscent of Chaka Khan, Bettye Lavette, and other greats before her. Fronting Houston's own funk band The Suffers, they are moving up in the ranks of people to look out for in 2015. Two nights ago, they did a very impressive set and tore it up in front of a jam packed house at Houston's legendary concert venue, Fitzgerald's.

The Suffers have recently released their highly anticipated Make Some Room EP, along with their first official video of the title track.
